ELLAD began in 1998 as a small medical nutritional therapy company servicing the Richmond Metropolitan area. Over the years, the company expanded into a multi-specialty preventative health clinic providing health maintenance, disease management, as well as diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
Our mission is to provide integrative and tailored care that bridges gaps along the wellness illness continuum of care. This is considered a critical component of holistic care that addresses every aspect of the person as well as unique characteristics that directly impact health outcomes.
We accept our "calling to care." Empathy is the cornerstone of caring. That is why we strive to actively engage and understand our clients' perspectives. We understand that empathy is crucial for establishing relationships and partnerships that ignite change.
We understand the importance of addressing the spheres of health (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual. occupational, and environmental). That is why we focus on providing multiple specialty services to assist our clients with balancing every facet of their health and wellbeing.
Patient advocacy is the foundation of quality health care. We proudly accept the responsibility of reinforcing the spheres of advocacy including educating, valuing, respecting, supporting, protecting, and representing patients while underscoring continuity of care.
We know the importance of equipping clients with the necessary tools to achieve the highest level of wellness by removing healthcare barriers. We value health equity which is the attainment of full health potential. Therefore, ELLAD has made it a priority to ensure that no one is excluded from achieving this potential because of social position or predisposition to health inequities.
